Policies & information

How booking, payment and car rental work — so everything is clear before you arrive.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 14 days or more before arrival are free of charge.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will be charged the first night's rate plus applicable taxes.
  • No-shows are charged 100% of the reservation and are non-refundable.

Booking & availability

  • Share your desired arrival date and number of guests, and we'll let you know which villa and rooms are available.
  • Every booking is handled personally by your host — no middle-man fees.
  • The sooner you enquire, the better the availability, especially in high season.

Payment

  • Once your dates are confirmed, you'll receive a secure payment link by email.
  • Please note: although the option may say “Bank Transfer,” you will receive a payment link via email to complete your reservation.
  • Your stay is confirmed once payment is received.

Car rental

  • We help you secure a rental for your whole stay, with pick-up & drop-off at the airport.
  • Drivers must be at least 23 years old.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • A valid credit card is required for the deposit.

Your stay

  • Self check-in with a lockbox; check-in & check-out times are arranged with your host around your travel plans.
  • Set in a quiet residential area — please be considerate of the neighbourhood.
  • A welcome breakfast basket is waiting on your first morning.
  • Anything you need during your stay, Ana is a message away.

House rules

  • Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
  • The gate is locked after 10:00 pm — please remember to lock it again if you arrive or leave after this time.
  • No pets on the property.
  • Our local iguanas, lizards and stray cats are harmless and protected — please don't feed them.
  • Quiet hours apply, and no parties or events.

Good to know

  • Our tap water is desalinated from the ocean — distilled, bacteria-free and delicious. Please use it consciously.
  • You're just steps from Sero Cristalberg — ideal for adventure hikes into the island's wild nature.
  • You're welcome to explore the gardens — take care around the desert plants, as some have thorns.
  • A car rental is highly recommended for getting around the island.
